Inside Tom Ford’s $75 Million New Mexico Ranch

LIV for Interiors / Inside Tom Ford's New Mexico Ranch

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know we love to nosey around other people’s homes - whether that be a gorgeous London townhouse, or Diane Keaton’s rustic, industrial home - we think it is the perfect way to get inspiration for our own home projects.

This home is one we can all dream of one day living in, well unless you have 20,000 acres you’re itching to renovate. Fashion designer and film director Tom Ford is selling his New Mexico ranch for a cool $75,000,000 (yes, you read that right) and considering you get a Marvel film set and air strip included, we think that’s a bit of a bargain – well, sort of.

The long walkways and reflective lake are evocative of Ford’s films (or a Black Mirror episode), where everything is a clean, modern spectacle. Japanese architect Tadao Ando designed the property, and it is clear that the fashion designer and architect’s affinity for clean and simple designs are a match made in heaven. The whole estate is like something out of a dream and we are completely in love with it.

So, just in case you were wondering, the estate houses stables, an exercise ring for his horses, an airstrip and hanger, film set featured in Wild Wild West and Thor, a reflective lake, several warehouses for storing equipment, two guest houses, accommodation for staff and ranch hands, a home and office building for the ranch manager, oh and tennis courts.

Do you love the architectural spectacle of the ranch or think it is a bit over the top? Let us know in the comments below!
